TaijiUbuntu is built with the coLinux kernel.This system is running Ubuntu on Windows XP.TaijiUbuntu is a Portable application. Users can use any Windows XP computer to run Ubuntu and just only need an USB storage device.

1.USB Storage Device > 2GB
2.Disk C > 8 GB
3.Windows XP/2000 (not sure Vista or Win 7)

You do not need to reboot your computer to run TaijiUbuntu.

How to Use TaijiUbuntu?
It is easy to start TaijiUbuntu.
1. Double clicks Firstrun_TaijiUbuntu.bat
2.Open the Network connections and rename the Ethernet adapter Name:

for example:
“Local Area Connection” to Real_ethernet (Main Ethernet adapter)
“Local Area Connection no.” to TAP (TAP-Win32 Adapter V8-coLinux)
Note:If you do not want to rename he Ethernet adapter Name,you can to modify the TaijiUbuntu.conf：
eth0=ndis-bridge,”Local Area Connection”
eth1=tuntap,”Local Area Connection 2″
and modify Run_TaijiUbuntu.bat
netsh interface ip set address “TAP” static 192.168.0.1 255.255.255.0
to
netsh interface ip set address “Local Area Connection 2″ static 192.168.0.1 255.255.255.0
3.Double clicks Run_TaijiUbuntu.bat
Note:The Firstrun_TaijiUbuntu.bat just only execute once on a Windows XP computer.

It is easy to remove TaijiUbuntu.
All you have to do just double clicks Remove_TaijiUbuntu.bat

Save Your TaijiUbuntu image.
All you have to do just double clicks Save_TaijiUbuntu.bat
Note:You can rename the TaijiUbuntu source image file like Ubuntu-
9.04.ext3.upgrade-5gb.fs.000.7z (Please make sure your USB Storage Device have enough disk space.)

How to change your Ubuntu Language Support.
1.TaijiUbuntu default language is Chinese traditional.
2.for English Language:
rm -r -f /root/.gnomerc
detail to see Ubuntu locale setup.
3.for Chinese Simplified:

change zh_TW.UTF-8 to zh_CN.UTF-8
4.Other Language:
Detail to see Ubuntu locale setup.

Note:
defaule memory for TaijiUbuntu is 1GB，if your memory < 1 GB，you must modify the TaijiUbuntu.conf file:
mem=1024
to
your_memory_size/2 (for example: 256)

To run TaijiUbuntu need Windows Administrator Account
